Screw it.

You can't learn to cook from reading a recipe just like you can't learn to paint from doing a paint by numbers.

That is why the content of this board is poor. If you want to ban me for expressing my opinion because it's not popular then do it. I'll gladly take that ban.

I read recipes all the time and cook quite well, thank you very much. Just gotta tweak them to your own taste. It's the base recipe that counts for the idea that makes the final product. Ya know?

You're welcome to your opinions, but you don't have to be an ass about expressing them.


I cook just fine, tyvm, but I like reading what other people make because it gives me ideas. Like Sapphyerez (sp?) said, you read someone else's recipe and then adapt it to your tastes.


If you don't want to talk about cooking, you're in the wrong place.


If you want to troll like you do on ACF, you're in the wrong place.


So, figure out what you want to do and if this board is the right place for you.

I use recipes for ideas and quite frequently change things around to be more like my taste. I'm sorry that's a hard concept for you to grasp.
