Yeah I got a little burned out on it last season too much swearing and what not. I might check out this season but I am not sure.

How is it so far?

No one posted about the 2nd episode yet? Well, I'll say that the gal they kicked off needs to take some public speaking lessons. I know they are nervous but anyone who has watched the show knows you need to be able to defend your dish.

I loved how they had people who were turned down for the show doing the critiquing. They all think they could have done so much better but they have no clue about the pressure involved and what the contestants go through. I'm sure it's one of those things you don't understand unless you've experienced it.

I guess I was underwhelmed with the last episode. No one is standing out for me except the two European guys and why would I want to root for them?!?!

Same here Lynea. I'm liking Stefan and Fabio. I really dislike Arianne and hope she goes next time. The chick that went this time cracked me up by saying "I never had a chance to make my own dish" DUH She got to pick what she wanted to make and do the ingrediants. No one TOLD her she HAD to use that darn ostrich egg! Gotta love the lame excuses they always seem to make to cover up their getting the boot.

i dont have a problem with team rainbow - at least one group of the chefs decided to team up and make it interesting


overall this season has been pretty boring so far but i expect that it will get better

I thought this was a BS challenge though. I understand it is all "part of the game", but why not give them actual equipment that allows them to cook? LOL!

Really, n00ber? I thought it was an awesome challenge! It made them be innovative and inventive. I love the dude that made his own smoker and everyone praised his smoked pork loin.


The biggest drawback for this season is that I don't really like the two European guys, but I think they are the best chefs in the group. I do, however, finally have someone to really dislike - the bitchy lesbian. She really rubs me the wrong way.

I like challenges like this last one as long as it's not the first one. I like them to be able to get their feet wet in a regular kitchen first. But, since this is the 3rd episode, I like when they throw them a curve.

I suspected something when, before the Quickfire, they said something about believing chefs should be able to roll with the punches (or however they phrased it). I just KNEW they were going to throw a surprise at them.

I did like how the one guy thought of making a smoker. Very innovative.

So what do you think of the new judge? He's quite blunt! The french dude, the guest judge was a jerk! I was hoping Jaime would bomb tonight and finally go home but alas, she won.

Even if Jaime bombed I don't think they would have sent her home. She creates drama which keeps viewers interested...especially with Stephan interested in her.


By the way, in case someone hasn't seen the fine print, the decision isn't completely up to the judges. There is a disclaimer in the credits that says the judges announce their decision after consultation with producers and BRAVO network. That's why I think they keep some people in for a while--they create drama which draws in the viewers.


I'm glad to see Melissa go. She hasn't been a very strong contestant all along. I think that was a good choice. I'm glad Carla is still around. I kind of like her and would like to see her have at least another chance.


Stephan's attitude is getting to me, though. I think he's a great chef but he needs to lose some of his cocky attitude.
