OMG why didn't I know about this board!?! |
I like to think I'm good with all types of foods. When I tell people I cook for living the first question I usually get is either "What's your favorite type of food to cook?" or "What's your specialty?" I don't have an answer for either one. I like to cook. I suppose I have had the most experience as a grill cook but I've worked every position in a restaurant, front and back of house, from dishwasher up to kitchen manager.
I guess I lack experience on the more traditional (ie you're not going to see them in your average US ethnic restaurant) ethnic foods and the "Iron Chef" type gourmet foods (I like Iron Chef but I think some of the dishes they come up with are rediculous).
Either way, my real name is Benjamin though, and my last name is of German decent so no Italian here.
