why cant anyone pronounce chipotle? |

theres no "uh" between T and L (bobby flay) and the L is AFTER the T. id say more people say chip-ol-tay than the correct pronunciation.

Cheh Pote Lay (yes, I can pronounce it) really isn't bad for counter service. Moes and every other place like it is shlock compared to Chipotle.

95% of the time, that's the way I hear folks say it. I haven't heard anyone call it "cheh potel" yet. ...which would be my guess if I had never heard it before. (e.g. bottle, throttle)

That's how I've always said it. I think I heard it on a fast food commercial - Wendy's maybe.
