i grill some hash browns in a skillet --- beat 2-3 eggs in a bowl and pour it over the hash browns --- slice some cheddar and put it on top ... wrap it in a tortilla and put some picante sauce on it
We do something similar when we don't want something from a can/box yet don't feel like going out--breakfast for supper. My favorite is a layer of hash browns with a layer of grits on top followed by a couple of fried eggs and a few piece of crisp, microwaved bacon. Spear that egg and let all the yolk run through it all. I've got it down to an art and can knock it out in 30min with little effort/mess.
I don't know who started the mayhaw jelly thread a while back, but I'm now a big fan of the stuff. I've even order 3 trees so I can make my own (in a few years). Gimme a biscuit or piece of buttered toast with the mayhaw on top and that's a fantastic way to end the meal.

Now if I'm really, really, really tired I make chili cheese hot dogs with onion on top. It's one of those things you can pretty much nuke and have within 5min.

i like those skillet meals they sell in the frozen aisle. i look for whatever brand is on sale but bertolli is the best, but also the most expensive...its like $8 for a bag for that one. i stock a few for when i come home after a bad day tho. that and a heineken mini keg hits the spot.

If you knew enough about me to know that I live in Canada, you'd know that I was born and raised in Florida.

I either have some tostitos with onion dip, or just skip a meal altogether. Usually we have enough leftovers in the fridge at all times that I can cobble something together.
No fail: leftover rice, warm it up stovetop (has to be stovetop!) with milk and some cheddar cheese. I call it slop of the day.
