I like to steam it then soak the heads in melted butter.
Nothing fancy but oh, to die for.

quick steam, i dont like mush
add butter and some tabasco and a small squeeze of lemon juice
next way would be cheese on top

yeah -- broccoli - butter - salt and pepper
same with cauliflower
... for asparagus --- take out the pepper and add garlic powder

Favorite is roasted with garlic and olive oil, then hit it with a squeeze of lemon.
Most often it's steamed with salt, pepper, and lemon pepper, then add a little butter when it's all done.

Steam until still a little crunchy, then add a tiny bit of butter before eating.

I prefer it raw but if it's cooked....steamed and served as is or with lite fresh ground pepper. I very seldom add salt to food since I quit smoking.
