What do you do to make your food tatse better? Do you usr wood chips, if so which are best. What is your favorite thing to cook on the grill and what do you do. And gas vs Charcoal

marinate
seasoning
sometimes wood
sometimes charcoal
rarely gas (bleh)
I like the charcoal taste.
We do have a new gas grill that needs assembled.
Husband wants to try gas again, but I bet he ends up with the good ole Webers.

I use the weber also. I marinate,use hickory and mesquite. I see alot of books about grilling so makes me think im missing out on something. Want to see what everyone here does

Using a Weber can be technical according to my husband. He has a book that shows how to place the coals to cook different meats and vegetables. His steaks are always so tender and juicy we can cut them with a fork.

wow that sounds good. I use a weber also... most of the time I use Kingsford charcoal (Not the Match Light) sometimes I'll put a piece of wood (Log) other times I'll use wood chips. You deffinitely get a different taste with charcoal which is what I enjoy. Also it gives me time to play catch with my son or something like that.

apple wood
all give a different flavor, all good.
i like gas if im in a hurry to get dinner on. if i have more time, the the real stuff of course. you can still use chips w gas.

I think gas cooks too fast. Never was a fan.

All we have is a gas grill....I do prefer gas over wood.
My fave thing to cook has got to be asparagus, chicken breasts, and grilled corn
