I have a dilemma. |
I'm making ham, green bean casserole, candied yams, and baked butternut squash tonight - but I only have one oven.
What is a girl to do?!

I think I've figured it out. I'm going to just cube the squash and yams and toss them with butter and brown sugar and bake at the same time as the casserole.

I have two ovens now, but back when I only had one I also had a convection microwave which was nice for doing squash and casseroles quickly.

Well, my husband and I decided to add 5 feet onto our kitchen and remodel it to keep me from complaining that the kitchen was too small (it was). I got to pick out all new appliances since the ones there were pretty old, so I opted for a cooktop and double ovens and I kept the over the cooktop mounted convection microwave. I'm very happy with how it turned out and frankly amazed at how often I use both ovens at once. They are very handy to have around when preparing large meals or making batches of cookies, etc. and cut cooking time in half.
