Any of the cookware promoted by The food network?

I have to say Im thoroughly disappointed in the chef's knife I bought. Yeah yeah I guess I bought into the hype. You would think that a network dedicated to the art of cooking could actually get a basic chef's knife correct.

After only about a week's worth of use, I could see 2 small divots of rust forming on the blade. At 2 weeks I could already tell the knife was getting dull cause it would barely cut an onion. I can almost run my hand down the blade and not get cut its so dull.

Am I missing something? I take pretty good care of my knifes, I dont let them soak in water or anything. I most of the time washed the knife and put it away right as I was done with it just to prevent this kind of thing from happening. I think I paid a good bit for it too like 80$. Its not so much about the money as I thought the product would stand up alot longer than it has.

I don't like any of Rachel Rays pans or dishes, but I do like the colors.
I got a couple of Paula Deen pans that I am liking ok.

don't have any knives, but do have a couple wisks and tongs

they are also Paula Deen

I have some of Paula's stoneware, and I like it just fine.

Nothing beats my great-grandmother's bean pot that I inherited, though, along with her rolling pin my great grandfather carved for her.

I bought a few of their knives and really like it. You do realize you have to sharpen them, right?

well of course I know knives get dull over time but after just a weeks worth of light use? Like cutting vegetables and stuff Plus the rust thing is just inexcusable. No knife should rust that quickly unless it was in standing water which it wasnt.
