Thanks, she is recovering at home. She has a large hiatal hernis, esophageal reflux, and a duodenal ulcer. She went to long john silver's, ate a bunch of "grease", (which she shouldn't do), and it made her sick. She shouldn't eat that much food at once either, but she would not listen. Anyway, she began throwing up. This continued until it turned into blood. After all the testing and scopes, she had lesions on her esophagus and on that hernia.
This isn't the first time this has happened, but I'm thinking it will be the last, I hope. she doesn't want to go thru this again.
Doc won't operate on her hernia because of her age, and how harsh the surgery is.
I asked my mother if she thought I was lying to her all this time about how she should eat her meals with having this hernia, and her reflux, and her ulcer?? I have only been doing what I do for 29 years.
She agreed to finally do as I and the doctor ask, after he told her I was right.
It has only taken 10 years. /sigh
