I learned how to cook on a gas stove but since I've moved out on my own (10 years ago) I've only ever had an electric stove. This is my Mother's Day present that my husband's and my bonus check is paying for.

I'm just the opposite, I learned how to cook on electric and can't cook on gas.

Gas is way better for cooking, I just don't have the hang of it.

I love my gas stove and would never consider electric, but am really loving my electric ovens now.

that is the same stove my parents recently bought i think.

be careful. turned all the way down, every burner but the accusimmer tends to be hot enough to keep something boiling.

I'm the opposite of most people. I can't stand cooking on gas. It might give you better control over the stove heat at a moment's notice but the smell of gas gives me a horrible horrible headache. Or whatever it is they put in it so you can smell it. Even the little bit that comes out while it's igniting is bad.

I'll take electric!

I learned to cook on a gas stove I love them... wish Florida had more of them but it is pretty hit and miss here.

I prefer the Gas stoves to cook with also, i've never like the electric
