Its a good series. You will love certain characters more then others and learn to love others you didnt think you would. No one is really bad either. Its all whose perspective you are looking at.

Yes, the first books are among the best I've read. That being said the last book was half-assed and uninspired. I expect Dance of Dragons to be more of the same.
