my gut reaction was "gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay" but then i realized i have that reaction when ever i read the summary of an urban fantasy book.

After reading the book a couple days, I'd personally wouldn't call it a cross between Harry Potter and Twilight. I guess it happened because the book involves a "forbidden" romance between two students of magic. But this is definitely no school like settings or some weird creepy love triangle. And it seems like most of the story will take place when the two characters are older (lot of time passes during the first few chapters). And it definitely has a more mature feel.
Really enjoying it so far. The author is really great at telling a story and creating atmosphere.

One of the comics I read reviewed this book, and it caught my attention. Then Goodreads sent me an email about it too. I may just have to read it!
