Need Ideas Fast |
in a hotel for business - left wallet on dresser this morning.. have two hundred dollar bills and thats it.. lunch time... where do i go to eat?? I'm still in the orlando area just on the complete other end.. no time to go to my place.. and to make matters worse because orlando has a big problem with counterfeit currency almost NO ONE accepts 50s or 100s...

UPDATE: tried at bank, they wouldnt do any transactions for non account holder without photo id
ended up going into a grocery store and buying a book of stamps.. turned into alot more BS than i figured

thats kind of how i felt.. i could understand if they tested the bill or whatever they needed to do, but i was on a time limit and had to be back so i just went across the street to a publix

If i hear things like that i get a warm fuzzy feeling about being European and not American ;-). A store has to accept legal tender here. Only exception are cab drivers with large notes (e.g. 500 Euro) or if a shop just opened and they honestly don't have enough small notes to give you change ...
