Long time no see... |
you know what bums me out? features you were writing in your programs 10 years ago are just now being put in virindi tank... you dont get the credit you deserve man.. lotta hacks copied your stuff LINE FOR LINE (yes elgarl and virindi inquisitor im talking about you)
Just wanted to give you a shout out for being the first real macro whiz and thank you for giving me access to your programs...

I've been away from AC so long that I honestly don't care. If what you say is true, I only wonder why it took them so long to adopt? Oh well.
The one thing I tried to instill in the UCM community was a sense of respect. Both from non-UCMers towards UCMers and of UCMers being courteous to hunters. I had a mode in one of my mage macros to heal hunters who were low in health in hopes they didn't die. As you know, I had a mode where people were able to ask my toon to log off and it would obey. It wasn't about abusing an area or my fellow gamers (unless they deserved it!!!). It was about having fun with both the game and technology (I was deeply into both). Leveling was a nice side-effect.
It connected me with a lot of people and that drove friendships. I'll never regret what I did or how I did that.

Actually - I haven't been playing WOW either. I went cold turkey (hard to believe wrt me).

I loved those... nuking all of the various golems (vapor, coral, diamond, etc.) along the inner north shore and inner west shore. If only the respawn were faster.
But then those dropped off once higher level tuskers were added to the game. I still remember running around the OP trying to find good tusker spawns. Then once they added tusker dungeons, there was no reason to do that anymore. I guess it just became a continual hunt for a better hunting spot. Luckily back then Turbine kept adding them.
