A lot of people are going to dis-reguard this post, since I am an outsider to this server. Some of you, as you did in general chat will insult me and call me a liar. As a general warning, i am saying i don't care, so say whatever you want. I will not respond to your flames.
That being said, i KNOW some of you, will keep an open mind and listen to what i have to say, and for that i say, thank you. Ask yourself just one question before reading, what do I have to gain by doing this? If he had really honored the full agreement, WHY would I take the time to write this? I have completed Four cross server trades in Two days and not ONE single person stole from me, those deals were completed, I thanked them very much and moved to the next server.
The point of this post, is to warn you of Mad Monger/DoomHerald. Two months ago, i returned from 3 years of not playing AC and just recently discovered that AC gave out writs of apologies to make up for some trouble during the time i had quit, and i have started doing cross server trades to trade the bags of salvage (fool proof) from each server (i have rank chains on every server, so each server has 5-6 characters that get writs) for the same amount on HG.
Because every server's prices vary, i rarely set prices when i visit, i simply say what I am selling, and let people make offers, and if it seems reasonable, i accept. While on TD, i made my announcement and Mad Monger (thats the character he used) offered to take my 5 bags here, in return he would give me 7 on HG. In my mind, i reasoned he was offering 2 extra, simply because it beats having to go through the hassle of trading those 2 extra bags accross server and it was simply easier to sacrifice 2 on a server he doesn't play and get 5 on one he does.
Anyways, we start the trade, i have two accounts logged in, one here, one on HG, but he can only do one at a time, so he gives me 3 on HG, tells me to give him the 5 on TD and then he would come back and give me the final 4, and so then logs in to TD and i give him the 5 i had (common sense should have told me to stick with 3, but i was VERY short on time as i had to go to work in minutes, so i gave him the 5) and then he never returned to Harvestgain. I waited 30 minutes, assuming he was simply having computer problems, but nothing. During that 30 minutes I continually did ISO messages with his name in it, nothing. However, his DoomHerald, monarch (Mervie) did respond and asked what the situation was, so I explained it in detail and he tells me that Doom is pretty honest and wouldn’t steal and so we were both betting it was a computer problem and I told Mervie that I didn’t want to cause any trouble, but if Mad didn’t complete the agreed upon trade, I would start posting on VN and in general chat that he stole from me (he accepted 5 bags on TD but only provided 3 on HG) simply to warn everyone about it so they wouldn’t fall for the scam and he agreed that waiting 9 hours to see if it could be resolved was reasonable.
Okay, 9 hours later, I come home and I had left the toon on HG logged in at the exact spot the trade was supposed to be completed at, so if it was a computer problem, he could just hand the 4 bags to my guy, nothing. After logging into TD to see if I could find him and figure out what happened, several people in general chat advise me that Mad Monger has another character named Doomherald, so I message him and all I said was, “Hello†and he starts demanding to know who I am to try and cause trouble for him, spams that 3 times and then turns private chat off, so I can’t message him. Because of that move, I had to take it into general chat and he refuses to admit that he stole from me, gets all upset, threatens bodily harm to my mother, threatens to choke me if I was near him, etc. During all of this, he claims he is innocent and that I am the bad guy and accusses me of verbally assaulting him, yet I never once made a negative remark against him, simply continued to tell him that if he just honored the agreement HE proposed, even if it was done in private, I would happily go away, as I only wanted what was promised OR at least that he return 2 bags of the salvage I gave him on TD, so it would truly be 3/3. He refused, stating that I only gave him 3 bags, but I have 5 characters on TD, all of which qualified for the writs, which are now all gone. You can see at this post, how many writs I had on each server as of this morning, to back up the fact that I did indeed have 5 on TD.

Again, I DO NOT CARE if you don’t believe me, I didn’t take a screen shot because he truly seemed like a good person and I just returned from a long absence and forgot about people like this. The only reason I took the time to write this message, is so people will know that they MUST be more careful when dealing with him, a lot of people yelled at me for lieing and that he is such a trust worthy person etc etc, but plenty of people private messages me telling me that they knew he was shady, but never thought he would steal, well, news flash he has. Please be careful when trading with him, he honestly seems like a nice person, but cover your back, take screen shots if he offers you a deal and never give him items, until he has fully given you the items you guys agreed on, if cross server trading or even trading in general.
On HG, one bag of fool proof salvage sells for roughly 150 MMDs, the 4 bags he refuses to pay up, total a loss of 600 MMDs for myself, and since he received 2 more bags on TD than he paid for on HG, he profited 350 on TD and still has 4 bags to sell on HG, which is 600, plus the 350 he profited on TD, he gains 950, all he has to do is cross server trade the MMDs to TD, which is easy enough. That is plenty of motivation to steal. When I mentioned the amount he owed, he offers to pay me 600 MMDs, if I delete all my TD accounts and post a humiliating video on you tube, which I declined and made this post as I warned him I would do.
Stay safe everyone! Feel free to do a rep check on HG for those that question me, main character is Dj Cide. A lott of people there have known me a great many years and can provide evidence that I would never accuse someone of stealing if it wasn’t true.
