I left Dubai at 1:40 AM on Dec 23 . . (My Birthday)
With the time Change... I will gain 11 hours...

So, technically... My Birthday this year is 35 hours long...

I would say "ay Me!!!"
But I will be stuck on a plane and not get home until 8:40 pm MST.


BUT....
I am drinking just one beer.

One right after the other ! ! !

sucks, I will be home only 1 week.
I leave on Jan 1 to go to Lafayette for IWCF (Well Control School)
Then back home on the 7th, then leave again I think on 11th.
YUK!!!

I am in serious need of days off... getting too damn burned out.
I have made great money this year, but I have not been home for more than 14 days at a time since May.

Anyways.... one more flight (sitting in lounge drinking a beer in Denver).

In Feb. I should be able to be home for a month.

I got my schedule worked out and finagled around some so that I will be home for the things with my boys that I want..

In Feb. 16-18 my Oldest Boy will be at the Nike Simplot Indoor Track Meet in Pocatello, Idaho.
The next weekend, I will be with youngest Boy for the Wyoming State High School Wrestling Championships.
Then I will have it worked out so that I will be home for The Outdoor Regional Track Meet, and then the Wyoming State High School Outdoor Track Championships.

Might go back to Dubai in March tho for a Project Management Class.

Usually, I fly from Gillette,WY > Denver > Frankfurt, Germany > Almaty, Kazakhstan > Atyrau, Kazakhstan

Coming home this time as I was in Dubai, I went from Dubai to Frankfurt, then Denver.

The Sand there was like the sand in Kazakhstan, VERY powdery IMO.
Well, in some areas of Kazakhstan it is worse than others. Like over there near Aktau, the sand is almost like flour or powdered sugar.

In Wyoming(like Wamsutter or Pinedale areas), the sand is more grainy, more solid.

Dubai is different than I was expecting, LOTS of western influence. Also, the Metro (public train system) was SPOTLESS. I could not believe how clean the Metro and stations were. Being an Arabic country and all.
Weather in Dubai was good. Much better than the -18c that we had in Tengiz (the area I work in Kaz)

Never been to Kuwait. To be honest, hope I never have to go ;-)

I "might" be taking a trip sometime to Italy (Milano). Just got to figure out some details and figure out how to change my tickets. (I do not set up my traveling).

Boys are both happy I got my schedule worked out so I will be here for their stuff.
There is another reason I was wanting to get my schedule rotated too ;-)
