Hello everyone.

I downloaded the free trial, and thinking about re-subbing for a short time, to check out all the changes in the game. Amazed at the new races and gear Ive seen.


I do have problem, which I think is a problem, is the ground and water look like ash and snow. Cant tell where the land ends, and the water begins. My buddy just re-subbed too, and is having the exact same problem. He and I have the same PC specs, except his video card is higher, but same sub family. I built both machines. Example, he went out to Blackmancers mansion, we were both in that guild back in the day. I know from memory where the beach line is, but its the same look as the ground, ashy/snowy. Is their some weird event going on, or are we having graphics problems?

We both have, i7's, 8gb ram, ATI HD 5800 series cards, running win 7.

Also, wheres the hot hang out spot?

I run the same system with same video card...same issue...unclick landscape detail textures and or environment detail textures and it fixes the graphics.

Any popular hang out spots in game? I made it out of the training rooms and found some trade bots.

I will contact Turbine during the week and try to get my old account back. I just cant remember any of my info, short of character names.

Foxy, life is life, had some ups and down. I been playing WoW all this time, and been guild leader for almost 5yrs now. ME and some friends were talking about AC, so one jumped back in last week, now I am, and a third friend is considering.

Did you get the ground/water problem fixed?

I havent logged in yet today,but my buddy sent me a email last night saying the same thing and that it fixed it for him.

my friend has his old account restored, and is still sworn to KK, who is still in Blackmancers guild. I'm glad he still has the same old mansion. I picked that one out, after the first one we wanted was taken.

Im about to go run some errands, but if I get back in time, Im gonna call Turbine and see if I can get my old toons back. Problem is, I dont recall my login, email address, or anything of that sort.

You'll have to check out some of the cool items on the walls in the mansion man

called them, and they said I had to do a ticket. Not sure that guy was top of his game, but was nice. So I put in my ticket, then get a auto response mail saying it can take 1-2 weeks, depending on volume.
