I'll take MMDs here. Someone wants me to just abandon the villa, pay MMDs and I will leave portal hooked and abandon.

Simply put, Turbine has put me in a vindictive mood.
Also, it really does show how unimportant a working, hooked, BM portal truly is. In the long run, a couple of years at best, Turbine probably will turn off the lights on the game. It's taken me years to agree with those who've been saying it for a long time now.

You guys are having too much fun here.
Comparing a villa with a portal that the vast majority of people don't give two craps about to an Energy Crystal that you can sell to the right person for insane amounts of in OR out of game currency is a little weak. (Feel free to ask me how I know in PM's. Lolz.)
I can't remember the last time that someone was able to actually sell a villa for MMD's, portal or no portal. We've picked up four adjacent villas the last two or three times that we came back and played - which means that it was at least five years ago. I think you guys are under-estimating the amount of villas that had portals, too. *shrug*

There are other villa's out there with hooked BM portals, as a matter of fact I have one. I don't see what the big deal is, the portal is pretty much useless.....

Just take it off the hooks already. Nobody is going to pay for it.
If you in a vindictive mood this still makes no sense. Your mad at Turbine so your guna unhook a portal item from a villa? How does that do anything to turbine? If anything it hurts your players and Turbine won't give 2 craps but most players probly won't even care.
It's so ridiculously easy now to get rank 6 on a mule and buy a mansion and then you can hook all the portal items you want. Villa's really are worthless.
