At the store I saw a same preview of the movie. My question is the whole mvoie done like a news cast?

no, it starts off like a documentary but after a short while breaks from that and goes into a regular movie format.

No. It starts out with the mockumentary style, and goes back to it fairly often as a way of getting across exposition, but plenty of stuff is presented in the traditional narrative form.

Well saw the movie and I got 1 question. If the aliens weapons where so much more powerful why did they just defend their selfs? I mean at the end of the movie there was over 2.5 mil of them...

Couldn't you say that about any oppressed group, though? That's sort of the obvious metaphor in the film. The aliens were direct copies of themselves, and the majority of the aliens were "worker bees", without much drive or independent spirit, so there was little hope for progress. Sort of like the poor classes with no social mobility, lack of education, etc...

the aliens were black people. how you could miss that when it's a parallel with a space ship for apartheid is beyond me.
