Well, for one thing Marvel has done that story line to death. Second thing, it's Smallville the show has gone 9 seasons without letting us know what their position on illegal immigration and talk show personalities are now that Clark has started doing things other than whine over Lana they're tossing this crap in. Though I will concede it makes sense that Ollie (Green Arrow) would be a filthy liberal as his comic book counterpart is.
