If they stick to the comic (which they've already strayed far away from  ), some interesting things should happen soon enough. The two hick brothers don't exist in the comics. The wife beater character does iirc, but not as a wife beater.
The comic is ALL sorts of f**ked up.
Hopefully that didn't spoil anything.

I loved the latest episode. Not just the zombie munching, but the conflict between the two groups in the city over the weapons. You think it's going to lead to one cliche situation, then something different happens. Still sorta cliched, but at least different and unexpected.
I'm starting to like Merle's brother, Daryl. He acts like a total jerk, then he gets some realistic character changes after the plan for the guns goes bad. I actually wouldn't of minded beating up that skinny kid myself when I saw all that stuff going on, and the gangstas take Glenn. I bet he's going to get killed by Merle, who justifiably felt abandoned and left behind on top of the building. And he'll probably die saving T-dog, or possibly Glenn.
