Heading off to watch it in 30 minutes. I'm not expecting a lot from this one, I'll let you guys know what I think.

Well it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I'd even say I enjoyed it more than Thor.
I'd like to note that I refuse to watch any of these movies in 3D.

I was reading the rather bad reviews today. But I think we'll still end up seeing it. We're suckers for superhero movies. We enjoyed Thor, it would be a pleasant surprise if we liked this one better.
And I don't care for the 3D thing either.

Add me to the sucker for superhero movies list.
I really liked Green Lantern.
Reading half of the bad reviews I just don't understand what the people expected.
The thing about super hero movies that a lot of people don't understand is that they have a ton of things to set up and explain, not just on the hero side, but on the villain side as well. This ends up being a lot more story and less action than say a Stallone/Arnold type action movie.

Amen to that..Well that and the fact I cant see 3D.. (mostly blind in my right eye)

watched this the other day. did not love it but i also didn't hate it. i only really know about him as part of the justice league so when i saw sinestro being like the green lantern leader i sat there going wait isn't he a bad guy? the fk is happening right now? but as soon as he convinced the big headed things to make the other ring i was like ah. ok setting him up for the future. check.
it ranks absolute last for comic book movies this year for me though.
