They could easily draw it out for at least half the season. I'm quite enjoying this season so far.

i haven't watched this season at all. i stopped watching it when double olivia replaced normal olivia. i fking hate that shit. but i do know that it was on the chopping block last season and the only reason they picked it up again was the fans. so unless it's viewership improves dramatically, i don't think it'll get a second save.

Nothing is every done for the fans. It's money or nothing. If it was truly on chopping block it would have been cut but I really doubt it was coz last season was baller.

it was on the chopping block. everyone from the cast and crew have stated this in interviews. they also talk about the fan movement to send in boxes of redvines to fox and i guess fox got so many of them that they said ok, you can have another season. you don't have to believe it. but i'm going to believe them when they say that kind of stuff. and i have all the episodes of fringe on my nas. i'll watch them eventually.

The first 2 seasons you really had to try to like. They were more like x-files and were not very episodic. After season 3 they figured out what all the other hit shows were doing and followed the formula; take each show and string them together so it's one big continuous story. THEN it got really good.

I disagree, it was only more like the first half of the first season that you had to try to like before I was hooked. It didn't take two entire seasons to get going like you said.

episodic means each episode stands alone. like csi. so you're saying the show was NOT episodic at first, then it moved on to being one story broken up into hour segments.  gg.
