Their default modem/router is over 4 yrs old and doesn't support Wireless-N and only 100 meg ethernet -- so much for bleeding edge technology.
We called their supervisor and a new router with gig ethernet and Wireless N will be installed next week.
Still, loving the speed and the picture quality is fabulous.

also, did they install the old or newer ONT? Newer ONT is better for larger homes that need MOCA support. Its cool cause MOCA allows multiple routers to spread the wireless

and pray some jackass at Verizon doesn't mess with your ONT. My sister was without internet and phone for 5 days cause a prankster was messing with ONT settings. Verizon Corp contact even confirmed it was somebody working at the NOC that was making unauthorized changes. They were trying to track down the person.
