I really wish I could find some wall mountable computer speaker I hate that my speakers take up desk space.

^^ You can wall mount the Z906's, and some others.

I broke down and got the Logitech Z906 since could not find a better & cheaper 5.1 setup. While it does not compare to my tv setup, it is in league with any bose I heard.

I have the Logitech x530 for my computer, and they are amazing, specially if you consider they cost less than $80. Look up reviews, they are all positive. I think the "modern" version is the z506.

I sent the speakers back.

They were awesome, but the problem is that the subwoofer was too big.

When I say "awesome" I mean they are LOUD and don't distort and reproduce sound excellently.

I survived to the end and got nothing out of it, but hey.

I'm not sure how that is a problem

I've used both the Klipsch and the Logitech Z2300, and I don't think they are "crappy", they just are not $325 At any rate, there are a lot of reviews on amazon that make me question any supposed superiority they might have.

Klipsch older 5.1 stuff was actually pretty good for the time it was released, just little pricy. Creative speakers are crap, I got cheap pair that died in few years. This is what started me looking for replacement. I was using my quad altec's from '99 till I got the z906's on sale for 300.

Kinda wish z906's were 250, but could not find a better option for myself. I wanted little more juice then the x530 .

Initially I thought something like Mirage MX 5.1 would be cool till I saw the price , and would still need a receiver. The problem is picking up 5 "good" speakers + a cheap receiver is way too much. There are much better options but you are basically going into home entertainment area and would need a sound-card that supported DTSConnect/DDLive. I can live with the compromise of what I got. They work pretty well for games. If I am going to watch a movie, well I got my HTPC and a nice system for the TV.
