i feel the same way about windows when it updates and wants me to reboot. I SAID NO GODDAMN YOU!

Windows XP was so terrible with that.
Windows 7 got better, but would then ninja reboot during the night, even if you had stuff open (grr).
Windows 8 is going to be less naggy I hear.

The war is over... I won!

After this post, I've noticed I have not gotten a single further nagging request to install iBooks. Not sure if it just it was setup to bug me half a dozen times or perhaps just for the first week of activating a new iPad. But now I can go to the Featured apps page and not get a pop-up window to install anything. It's peaceful bliss. And I won.
