Seeing as how these forums are going away... |
Let's say, hypothetically speaking, that a group of folks here with no small experience running forums were to stand up a new set. The idea would be to provide boards for the active MMO's as well as the extra flavor boards traffic'd here in a relaxed (but not utter chaos and bedlam) atmosphere. In other words, clone what worked and drop what didn't. If such a place were stood up, how many here would consider giving it a try?

Depends on the layout and style of the boards. Also on the rules of those forums.

I'd probably give it a try Tai. I enjoy the freedom of discussion that is allowed here on VN so if you are going to try and recreate that atmosphere then I'm all for it.

To be honest, I am not the brains behind it (that is probably for the best ), but I did volunteer to help as needed. As weird as it sounds, I would hate to see the VN community dissolve after all these years so if the braintrust can make this work I am all for it.

As I said in the other thread, if trolling on the MMORPG related forums and also on the technical forum is moderated the way you moderated the SW:TOR and GW2 forums, I'd be willing to give it a try (and I'm actually already doing it).
