The bar I go to brings fresh baskets of peanuts out with your drink. Uneaten ones from when people leave are discarded onto the floor (along with all the shells).

Onto the floor? Sounds great!

I think there are more structures visible from space and I know elephants can't jump but not sure about other mammals. The paper I saw on mythbusters. Maybe the DustBuster?

You can’t fold a piece of paper in half more than 7 times.

Ya know, now that I'm thinking about it, I wonder if you can fold a sheet of cellophane more than seven times.

The last one

That's a myth actually. The Great Wall of China cannot be seen from orbit.

There's one there that's absolutely true - but it's conditional upon where you live:

Quote:

If someone wrongly advertises goods with the wrong price, they have to sell it to you at that price

This is 100% true in several States, notably California (and AFAIK Hawaii? I think?). If the company puts the wrong price on a product they are required by law to sell that product at that price. Period. They are free to correct the pricing error of course, but until they have, they must sell the item at the "sticker" price, regardless of how wrong that price is. $5 price tag on a $5,000 item? Too Damn Bad.

Actually it said the "ONLY" mammals that cannot jump. I don't recall ever seeing a 3-toed sloth in the high jump event.*

*not saying they CAN'T jump, in case you're easily angered by people dissing the 3-toed sloth.
