1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

We lost a ton of manufacturing in this country and then had a tsunami of illegal workers flood our remaining jobs that work for nothing....
Then you have major corporations handed bjillions of dollars just to give their selves bonus'...
...and you have the nerve to call Americans lazy and poor....

I think you are kind of right on this one. There are many wealthy people who don't work because us workers take care of them. We produce more, for less, so stock prices will rise and they can sit back and collect capital gains.
Then the other half of us who are producing get the idea that it does no good because someone else is going to get what we earned, for doing nothing.
Like you said, Wall Street is the beginning of the end of any nation.
When you make money on the back of others for doing nothing while those working get nothing for their efforts to make you wealthy, we are going the wrong way.
I'm sure this is what you meant by #5.

Grymlo probably still has a nice job that pays him well. I'm sure he is insulated from the reality of what is actually happening in America.
For him to make a thread that poor American people are just people unwilling to work and looking for hand-outs, shows a huge disconnect.

The problem in this nation is that the middle class is screwed over by the rich.
You can destroy a country, empire, whatever by undermining the middle class for the benefit of the rich.

BS. If I'm Emperor of the world and decide everyone worth more than 10 millions has the excess property taken away from him and given to the poor guess what happens.

It is amazing how they can take clear common sense and twist it into liberal thinking. People like this are so indoctrinated that they will never accept that the rich are not evil and the poor are not pure. As I have said before; I don't believe most liberals are evil but their whole hearted supported of evil makes them just as bad.
Most Germans would never have supported the evil Hitler did; but most Germans, out of ignorant and stupidity did support Hitler the man. At least Hitler hid what he was doing. Liberals have to look the other way; or twist the logic until evil sounds verdurous.

Funny how that fits perfectly both ways. It is also funny how with the a few clicks of a mouse I can find more evil done by the rich than I can by the poor.
Is it worse to steal $50 from 20 people or to steal $5 from a few million?
