Any chance of awareness or sentience... big problem.
Just create them with a computer chip that handles the autonomics and we'll be golden.
I hope we get there before I hit 65 or 70. I could probably use a couple spare parts.

What if they could grow the organs outside of the body, or by using something like a pig's body and just implant human stem cells which they could force differentiation of into a liver?
