Do christians have to do what jesus said? Or do they simply have to accept that Jesus was the son of God and died to save their souls?

There are plenty of good Christians. But not the most vocal ones in America. The religious right is an affront to Jesus and if he were around today they would be the first ones he would throw out of the Temple.

RWN are more giving with their own money.
LWN are more giving with other people's money.
The vast majority of Christians are great people (all people for that matter).
Don't judge the majority by the rantings of the few.

There is no such thing as the religious left. Liberals don't mix their religion with their politics...if they do they aren't liberals, they are catholics.
