There is no loyalty in the workforce anymore. Take the job that pays the most with the expectation of leaving it when you move away with your girlfriend. Don't burn the bridge though.

Bird in the hand.

Just set things up so you can skip out on Louisville when the time is right.

Well, the guy in Cinci says he'll know soon, so why rush? You could even commute between Lousiville and Cincinnati until your GF gets out of school.

Driving down the Dixie Dieway (31W) to commute to Radcliffe or E-town(not sure which, guessing it's one of those two) will probably get you killed...

It's E-town and I'd move there. I'd also move to Cinci and go visit the lady on the weekends.

You have a job now. You're afloat at least, barely, but afloat.

You have two possibly imminent opportunities - the job in Cinci - and the job in the smaller market.

You have one definite opportunity coming down the pike - your GF graduating and you both moving.

I would stay with the bar job you have now until/unless Cinci calls and make that move then with the understanding that you may move again when your GF graduates.

Timeframe is a relevant piece of info here.

How long till you hear back from your old boss with a solid y/n? If he's gonna string you along for a few months, then take the other job. If you can afford to wait until you truly know what your options are, do so.

You're going to be doing traffic reports in Cincinatti?

I was a bartender. You have to have the right temperament to do this job. Whatever you do, they should be damn happy to have you and whatever you do is alright. Just make a call based on all the facts and circumstances and live today to the fullest.

None of those choices seem like a good option for a nice Jewish boy.

Have you considered accounting?

Also, I voted for take small time job and wait for GF to graduate.

I'm assuming you're pretty serious about her since you're considering such a thing.
