Honestly, the left leaning Romney is fine with me. How is he much different then Obama? Win/win.
*Dems have basically already won the election by having Romney the de facto winner. He is basically a democratic.
Ron Paul doesn't even want to win. He just wants to sell books.

Well I suppose those that don't support Ron Paul are cool with Obama or Romney? We just keep going down this road of awesomeness.
I don't want Mark Sanchez or Christian Ponder as my teams quarterback, but that doesn't mean if Rex Grossman was the only other QB available that i'd take him over them. Maybe i wait a season to see if an Aaron Rodgers type comes along. Sometimes you just have to wait for the best opportunity.
The sad thing here, is that i cant disagree with the rex grossman analogy at all...*sigh*

The biggest thing that makes me interested in Paul is the scorn he draws from the rabid partisans on both sides on the Outpost.
If all you party line fuckwits don't like him I can't help but think he might be on to something.
At the very least it'll be worth watching the epic meltdowns if he actually manages to win.
Actually I find the opposite to be true.
The fact that the Outpost Truthers, racists and morons are drawn to Paul make me think he's probably not the candidate for me. There's a good idea in there somewhere about antiestablishmentarianism (double word scoore!), but I'm still not convinced it's worth the cost.
Me too. I prefer to always vote for the General Electric approved Corporate Media darling who, if elected, will guarantee that the status quo is maintained! That way, a decade from now, when incomes have declined again and the price of everything else has doubled again, I can shake my tiny fists and the sky and yell " I DON'T UNDERSTAND!! WHY!!! WHY!!! WE NEED CHANGE! CHAAAAAAANGE!!!"

Romney is in fact the same as Obama but he's also a Republican. That makes him much much worse.
Romney can push through way more of Obama's agenda than Obama ever could.

Well, for 20 years now that "quarterback" hasn't come along. How long are you willing to wait?
I can wait a little longer. Things aren't as bad as some people portray, or nearly as bad as they could get. I'd rather do it right, than do it wrong just for the sake of doing it.
