I like tasting my food. I don't need to make it into a contest every time I eat. Perhaps if you need it so hot to enjoy it something might be wrong with your taste buds.

I can do Jalapeno sauces all day. Habanero sauces give me nose bleeds for some reason.

Tabasco sauce is what makes many MRE's edible.

I like spicy food to a point, but when you start using super crazy spicy sauces, I can't understand how you're not just hurting your tongue. It's uncomfortable and ruins my taste for anything else.

I like it hot enough that you have to be careful to keep it off your lips. No more than that.
I don't see the point in the bajillion scofield peppers.
I do love the quick heat from mustards. A whole spoonful of wasabi or horseradish is great, since it only lasts an instant. And I love pepper on everything.

Every chemical at work says "known by the State of California to cause cancer". We joke about the fact that we aren't in California, so we should be OK, as we bathe in the crap.
Black Pepper is the least of my worries there.

I use tabasco for sore throats. A mexican friend told me to try that because that's what his family does..lol, it seems to kill the infection every time.
I also like tabasco on eggs...yummy!

Tobasco doesn't kill infections. Infections are in the flesh, not on the surface.
It may somehow have an anesthetic effect but I couldn't explain why.

Lol when i was in NC, a friend of mine bought some part for his car and the package said "known to cause cancer in the state of CA" - it was funny; only califirnia made them print the truth.
