Ron Paul's solution to abortion is to only allow two branches of government to decide what happens with it. His own website says he would overturn Roe V Wade (which he does not have the authority to do), then to pass the Sanctity of Life Act, which bars the judiciary from applying judicial review to cases relating to abortion.
It's an odd stance, likely driven by his need to be an anti-choice libertardian, which isn't really possible.

Either no governmental body can, or any of them can.
What fucking difference does it make whether that governmental body is Federal or State?

What fucking difference does it make whether that governmental body is Federal or State?
The only difference is that in one, you aren't forcing women to travel across state lines in order to get medical treatment, just to make some people feel good about their state while accomplishing nothing towards their goal. That's why, in this one case, it's a federal law and should remain that way.
