In the 70s a few of us drove into east L.A. to watch wrestling at the Olympic Auditorium, Roddy Piper was the big draw in a feud against Chavo Guerrero Sr. He had been giving Mexicans a hard time about being lazy and dirty, he said by way of apology he was going to play the Mexican national anthem on his bagpipe, he proceeded to play La Cucaracha.
