Enkidu, I accept your worldview. However, we have different metaphysical underpinnings. I have access to deeper layers of what I call soul in contemplation. The soul is the brain of a spiritual life. Without getting caught up in the mind-body problem, I do believe : All is One. So, your position is as true as mine.

Try meditating, if you dont already. It may have an impact on you as a scientist (i.e. predispose you to new discoveries).
