Don't need to, rift was a boring POS.. SWTOR is the most immersive MMO out there, it's taken the best elements from a regular RPG and put it in a MMO environment.. The Bounty Hunter story is masterful, and I actually care about the quests as opposed to every other MMO out there which is a wall of text that tells me to go kill 12 wolves, now I get to choose to kill them in a evil way and use the wolf puppies as slippers, which is awesome!

Sure it's buggy, glitchy and not everything works... then again you're probably too much of a noob to know what WOW was like the first 6 months.

I was in the beta for wow..

When it released, I quit at level 30 and went back to DAOC since daoc owned WOW in every way imaginable

The single player story in SWTOR is alright. I played the BH too..

Still, pvp is utterly bland, and playing huttball 95% of the time against my own realm is a joke.

I had fun in both games, wow raiding was fun.





I played against the republic all the time and Huttball is crazy fun for a Merc..

end game pvp is as of yetmod, then again they have launched very little new content.. we'll see. I would be fine with this being a pve style wow game as long as the raiding is fun, had a blast in wow with my guild and I'm playing with the same guys.

That is more or less what makes a MMO good, the people you play with.

I found Rift to be tedious and lifeless.

Yeah. Although SWTOR is feeling that way right about now too.

Although to be fair it took until I got to level 45ish for TOR to become tedious.

All MMOs get tedious but Rift just felt like you could see behind the curtain too easily.
