For abortion, yes I don't want that decided on a state level. It should be federal. Women shouldn't feel trapped because they are stuck in a regressive state.
He doesn't believe in evolution. He said he can't accept the theory. Now that might means something different for you than it does to me, but as I understand it it means he doesn't believe in evolution. I can't vote for someone like that. I can't even respect someone like that.

the guy is a total fundie. fundies like him and mastboro exemplify half of what is wrong with the republican party right now. the other half being the non-stop blowjobs for rich people. i also have a really hard taking a scientist who doesn't believe in evolution seriously. did he get his undergrad degree in guatemala?

Anything that is a scientific "theory" is sound. Other "theories" are gravity and the idea that bacteria and viruses cause disease. The way scientists use theory isn't as wishy-washy as the colloquial usage of the word (well, they do use the colloquial version as well).
