SOPA and PIPA don't have a chance in hell of passing now. This incident proves the government doesn't need more power to "combat web piracy", they can already shut down a foreign website and arrest people in other countries without it.

The next time some idiot starts spouting off about how wonderful "cloud computing" is.....they need to be told that all the info you put into that "cloud" will be lost forever if someone else using it decides to upload a couple of old My little Pony episodes and the fed shuts down the entire server because of it.

While i don't agree with SOPA in its current form, Megaupload is one of the sites that a good piracy bill would stop anyway.
