I think he is talking about his work truck.
Bonk is a vendor that probably works out of a small truck.
I hope he is.

Or he let them charge him $40 for an air filter and $20 each for wipers.

If nothing else go to Pep Boys or someplace similar, it is really hard to screw up an oil change. I always get mine changed because I don't want to deal with the waste oil.

Politicians are like diapers, they should be changed often and for the same reason.

Bonk fell for the Jiffy Lube scam. The 19.99 oil change gets you in there, then they come at you with a list of all of the other stuff you 'need'. It's a scam. Just take it to the dealer. It's ten bucks more, their technicians are well paid and knowledgeable, and you get much better service.

Damn that's a ton of money for an oil change.
I have a service that comes to my house and does them here, and they only charge me 40 bucks per vehicle.

Nope. I had quick lube place somehow dump oil in my alternator once. Two hundred and fifty bucks later, I was wishing I had gone somewhere else. There are tons of horror stories about those places, not getting the drain plug tight, forgetting to put an oil filter back in, etc. Those guys are making minimum wage and rushed like hell. It's best just to go to a regular mechanic or do it yourself.

My mechanic charges like $25-30 to change my oil. Cheap and easy.
