The longer they wait to fall in line, the tougher a time they are going to have beating Obama.
He's sitting on a billion dollar war-chest and doesn't need to spend it right now - other republicans are doing his work for him.
I get what you are saying, but Republicans do not have much more time before the intra-party squabbling is going to start being really disastrous for them.

Sorry to disappoint you. I didnt vote for McCain and I wont vote for Newt or Rom. Just remember this post though when you said you would probably vote for Rom even though when you do vote you will vote for Obama.

The more Obama and the D's say, the worse it is gonna make it for him among the sane and rational who at this point just want him to shut up and leave town.
Of course, the majority of the population are sound-byte driven consumer drones, so the Billion of "even bad publicity is good publicity" comes into play. Unfortunately.

With a competent running mate, Romney will do just fine against Obama. I think it will be a close one.

Romney could.
