I wasn't really reading the thread.
But that doesn't ring a bell either. Japanese game shows don't make people do gross stuff. There's no "fear factor" or "jackass" type show on Japanese TV. At least not at prime time.
In fact recently they'd started showing American gross-out shows on japanese TV in a melange format. It isn't a domestic genre really.
Japanese game shows make people do weird stuff but not usually gross stuff.
