It wasnt important with Bill Clinton and its not an issue with Newt. Newt is evil for other reasons. I dont like the guy. Bill clinton is not a bad guy and he was a pretty good president. I voted for him after Bush said, "Read my lips! No new taxes!" and then he went and raised taxes. DOH!

Gingrich worked to impeach Clinton while cheating on his wife. He now says that doesn't matter because although he was a liar and a cheat he didn't do it under oath.
Someone should remind him of his marriage vows that he has conveniently forgot.
Gingrich is a douchecanoe of the highest order. The fact that he's even up there shows how far the GOP has fallen.

That's really the big difference between the two. They both cheated stupidly but Clinton had charisma and empathy and people could read him as a good guy just going astray. Clinton would not have divorced his wife while she was dying of cancer in order to marry a younger woman. He let his dick lead him around but he didn't have that sort of cold hearted evil in him.
There's nothing sympathetic about Newt. He is and always has been a complete asshole.
