This is a line I heard from a CNN news pundit and it is dead on. Newt got some great sound bytes in over the last few debates but when voters take a closer look at the man called Newt, it is an experience similar to a sour yellow phlegm in your throat you try to hawk up but can't seem to get rid of.

Thats because the democrats are afraid of him like they were afraid of having another black man in the race with Cain. The media is pushing to get romney as the candidate because he's the easiest for them to attack and for the democrats to declare elitist/out of touch or a religious fanatic like they do every election.

Fred you are insane. Newt, while he maybe a very smart man, lacks the internal governor that most of us have that controls the things we say. There is NO way he would ever be elected. Moderates decide elections and no way in hell he would get our vote.

Obama wins with 54 points when matched up against Newt. Obama loses 48 / 49 when matched up against Romney. Newt somehow managed to be more unlikeable than an empty suit of a President plagued with unemployment.
