66% of Florida Republicans are not Tea Party just because they said they support the Tea Party to some extent. I bet 66% of them support the Miami Dolphins. Does that make them Miami Dolphins?

If they were Tea Party, they would not have voted for Romney or Gingrich.

Hoisted on your own petard.

If they aren't a sizable portion of the Republican base, they don't have the numbers to effect the election.

OR

They are a sizable portion of the Republican base and are supporting Romney, at least in Florida.

Pick one.

There is no way that 66% of Florida Republicans support the Miami Dolphins.
- A lot of them just care about college football and don't care about the NFL.
- The NFL support is split with the Bucs and Jags in state as well.
- There are a lot of transplants from other parts of the country in Florida who don't care about any of the Florida teams.

Quote:

Newt Gingrich may be considered a Washington insider, but he’s going strong with the anti-establishment Tea Party movement.

In a straw poll taken by the Tea Party Patrtiots, the nation’s largest Tea Party group, Gingrich drew 31 percent of the vote, with Michele Bachmann close behind with 28 percent.

Even polls taken within Tea Party groups directly have plenty of support for Gingrich and Romney.

Paul is once again arguing against facts because they don't line up with his world view.

Out of the 66 percent of Florida voters who said they supported the small-government Tea Party movement, 41 percent cast their ballots for Romney and 38 percent for Gingrich, according to the data compiled for U.S. news organizations.

LOL, 66% of Florida voters are Tea Party?

I don't think you read that properly.

Are you implying that anything less than 66% of the party is not sizeable? Do you know how many votes Obama won by last time?

SoO is the one who said they were Tea Party. He is still insisting it is a fact.

What SoO does isn't a concern of mine and has no bearing on my post.
