Iran has really pissed off the EU and Russia is supporting it. It is not wise to dick around with oil supplies to the EU in the dead of winter.

Not at all. You're the sole supporter of your baby girl and yourself. It makes complete sense that you would be concerned about how this is going to impact you and your family. I would argue that if more people thought about the implications of how 'police actions' impact themselves and their family we would have far less involvement in war.

It will all depend on Iran's reaction to the strike, so far Khamenei says war will be 10 times worse for the U.S.

Institute a draft. Public support would drop so far that we'd never have a police action again.

It always happens the same way: There is a window of urgency-It's kill or be killed. Cant you see this is a false dichotomy. It is a fallacy. We are NOT in a kill or be killed situation. Our allies, Israel , have been in a kill or be killed situation forever. If they want to take out Iran, that is their business. They have what they need to do it. We can only control ourselves. Let's deal with the consequences of our allies behavior when it happens. We will not throw Israel to the wolves. But, we dont have to apologize for their acts of aggression either.

If Israel is stupid enough to attack Iran....let them deal with it.
I know they have a fricken nut bag, war loving, full of crap, idiot in power at this time, but he isn't all that popular even in his own country, and every leader in Europe hates the bastard.
He might just try it, but it would mean the end of Israel or nuclear war in the middle east...which of course would also mean the end of Israel.
