Viggo Mortensen is one of the best actors working today.

His latest stint in A Dangerous Method should make this painfully obvious. He disappears into his roles to the point that it's very easy to forget the man was once Aragorn. He's the Harrison Ford of the Rings. The rest of that cast got Hamilled. I'd even go so far as to say he's better than Day-Lewis.

Ian McKellan, like Alec Guinness, is immune to the effects of Hamillization, and Cate Blanchett had maybe five minutes of screen time in the whole trilogy.
Sean Bean, on the other hand, is a film actor licking his wounds on TV. HAMILLED!
