Right now Diaz is getting his ass chewed. I suspect he'll be in jail soon. Diaz was there to be Diaz, Condit was there to fight. Good show.

I hate Diaz but you gotta give the guy credit where it's due - he's a fukn beast of a stand up striker and could put anybody in the division out in the first round toe to toe on any given night. The guy is an animal and his style is unique (lanky, aggressive, pissy, hard to time or predict...etc) and fun to watch. His crybabykins attitude is what sucks. Hell, I even enjoy watching him be a douche in the octagon and talk all his shit to opponents, but his composure outside the octagon turns a lot of people off.
I hope he doesn't retire. I doubt he will. He's the guy peeps love to hate.

And how about the fat ninja Roy Nelson! That guy rocks. I love how he uses his face for defense sometimes like he did tonight.

Pretty good card I thought.

Nelson is tough, but his entire system of defense is based on blocking hits with his face.


Diaz is such an ass...his strategy consists of moving forward, getting you against the cage and pummeling you with blows. He has no footwork and no head movement and got picked apart by a fighter with a much better gameplan.

First, if you don't like Nelson you are a commie bastard!! I don't think you could be more tough than that guy!! and he's funny...seems like a legit good guy.

Oh, I like Nelson. But unless he changes a bit and stops taking such hard shots to the head he's gonna retire with the same funny look in his eye that Liddel has.
